JackRack - Not worth the money

Augusta, Georgia 0 comments

I had paid for it one year ago now they sent it to collections after a year and say that it was never paid for.Now I have people calling every day trying to say i didnt pay for it when its been almost 2 years and it was paid for with a credit card I cant get no answer when i call the jack rack number.

I know im probably not the only one that they have screwed and the product doesn't even work like it says.I have actually hurt my back using this product im sure lawsuits are coming soon

JackRack - Damaged Product

Saint Louis, Missouri 0 comments

I ordered a Jack Rack, and after a month and a half passed called the company and was informed they were on backorder.Notification would have been nice, but I understand people lose track of things when a company falls behind.

When I received it, it was damaged. I called the company and was assured that the trial period would not start until I received the undamaged replacement parts. Instead, I received a letter from a collections agency saying since I refused to pay Jack Rack they're now trying to collect the debt.

Still never even received functional equipment.Avoid at all costs.

JackRack - Jack Rack customer service stinks!!!

I ordered the Jack Rack in November, after 5 weeks of waiting and waiting (having already been charged for the first payment & shipping), with no correspondence or contact of any kind, I called and they told me they were "out of stock" and anticipate shipping the product within 2 weeks "or so." When the product did ship, they only shipped Box "B" of two boxes.I called customer service AGAIN and they had no shipping information about Box A.

They could not tell me if it was shipped, not shipped on back order, NOTHING!!! The next day Box A was delivered. I finally had the product yeah!!! I put the product together only to find that 2 of the stabilizing pins were missing.

I called on 1/18 and they assured me that they would be shipped out that day or the next. I called today to be told they have no shipping information on the pins.

The customers service representative continued to interrupt me while I was talking and trying to explain the situation and all she kept saying was "I understand." DON'T UNDERSTAND JUST FIT IT!!!I have never dealt with a more disorganized, unknowledgeable, rude, ignorant and unhelpful organization, and I have purchased many, many pieces of exercise equipment on-line.

I have been going through a VERY similar situation.i JUST got off the phone with customer service for the 2nd time regarding many pins missing.

First, I "ordered" my Jackrack on march 2nd....it FINALLY came May 21ST!!!! However, pin #1 was missing (Pin that holds both sides together) and I was missing BOTH pin #2 that goes on the upright bars SO YOU CAN USE THE PRODUCT. I called customer service and there were SO SORRY for this, and I was on the phone last monday with them and the service rep put in a RUSHED ORDER to get me the pins RIGHT AWAY. I called back today...9 days later, and the customer service rep now states that "I see something on here, but I have no idea if its been placed or if the pins have been ordered".

Customer Service has been NO HELP to me whatsoever....although i know it is not there fault for the missing pins, there is NO CONSUMER SATISFACTION, that is for sure.I am now waiting over 3 months to be able to use my Jackrack and still nothing....

2 months and no Jackrack!

Calgary, Alberta 1 comment

I ordered the jack rack 2 months ago, November 11th 2011, and it was supposed to be a 4-6 week delivery time. After 4 weeks I called and nothing.

They said it was on back order and as soon as it was shipped I would see it on my credit card. Two weeks before Christmas I knew this wasn't going to happen. Then I called again right before Christmas to find out the status of my order and the service representative said it "hasn't been shipped to the warehouse". So did that mean back-order?

He wouldn't say. January 13th, 2012 I called again and the operator said it was still back-ordered.

My husband didn't get his Christmas present, just a gift wrapped picture of the jack rack. Now, 2 months later, I have cancelled my order due to this bulls#@$!

Maybe I'll buy him an ipad!

I don't understand the confusion over the trial period (see other complaints). Look at the site - the prices are clear as day and you can try any of the 3 packages for fifteen bucks for 30 days.

I got mine last week (Platinum package, ordered it on 11/16) and love it, for what it's worth. I don't see any complaints about the product itself - looks like a couple people were confused about what "trial period" means.

OK, so I can't post a review with less than 100 words. Seven more to go. Now two. Done!

You're asking too much of most of the morons in this country. You know most people sign up for or purchase things without reading anything first. Then when it isn't too their liking they complain when they wouldn't have had to if they readbefore purchasing.

Update by user Mar 02, 2012

UPDATE: Please note that this complaint was written before the infomercial had a tiered buying structure.I tried to make a purchase when the first infomercail ran.

It\'s been almost a year since I placed my order and I still haven\'t received the product. The CEO of the company, Lane Murphy, had promised me by email over several months of correspondence to notify me when one would be available and offered me a huge discount for my patience. Needless to say, I\'m still waiting... well, not really, you see, Lane Murphy was also a Vice President as Goldman Sachs and we know the kind of business they do.

So it seems that some folks just move from one company to another and do what they do best.

I think by these postings, you\'ve probably figured out what that is.LOL

I would love to review the Jack Rack.IF I COULD GET IT!

After ordering it 3 weeks ago and hearing nothing, I called customer service. I was treated very rudely by customer service and they told me that I wouldn't see the product for 8-10 weeks (they advertise 4-6) and I wouldn't get a shipping confirmation! Are you serious?! Not to m...ention it's $240+ for the basic product NOT the one they show you in the commercial.

You have to spend at least another $100+ for the rest of it. I was willing to put up with that until I talked to customer service. If you aren't equipped to get a product out to the customer, don't sell it until you can. I'll find something else.

I posted this on their Facebook page so that they would know the kind of service people are getting.Within minutes, it was removed and I was blocked from posting on their wall.

I ordered the Jack Rack on line and then received my confirmation and order number by email. I called the same day to make sure they were giving me the 14.95 trial but they said my order wasn't logged in the system yet. I called for the next 5 days and it still wasn't in the system even though I had a confirmation/order number. They proceeded to have someone call me back a day or two later to ask what the issue was. When I explained it, they referred me back to customer service. I kept going in circles so I just quit. I wanted to try it but if the customer was that bad, I don't want to take a chance.

I ordered the Jack Rack July 10, by September 21 they never offered a email call or anything to explain the delay, I had to contact them. December they charged my CC and on the 19th I received the pad kit in a box marked 1 of 2. I never received box 2 of 2. I called to ask what the other tracking number was, they say they shipped everything and they only have one tracking number, FedEx says they don't use the same tracking number on more than one box. I feel I got jacked alright. Ill wait a few more weeks for the other half to show up before disputing the CC charges and then I will contact the BBB and the Attorney General's Office to file complaints.

Www.JackRack.com is a Scam! Don't Start To Buy!

Asheville, North Carolina 40 comments

WWW.JackRack.com is misleading. They want you to think that your purchase is only $14.95 for a Free Trial, This is not correct.

You would think they would send you all of the equipment that you see them working out on, this is also not correct. After you give them your Credit Card Number they process it but they also make you purchase other items that make it all fit together. In other words, you have to buy the JackRack little by little and piece by piece. Just a warning!

If you decide to purchase you will see and you will be dissapointed!Anyone looking for JackRack Customer Service Number to speak to a live operator ---> (1-203-306-5682) :(

I too purchased one in full and they sent me two.I sent the second one back and they started charging me $39.99.

I called customer service and they told me that they have not received the return. After more effort she finally said she checked "something" and told me that they have received it and will refund the two payments. I thought "great" until I was charged again the next month with still no refund. I called back and she told me again that they have not received the return.

After asking for a manager, she again checked "something" and told me that they have received it. She assured me that I would now be getting my 3 refunds. I saw 1 refund today and was going to call them back about the other two. The customer service number is now missing from the website.

I finally found it through amazingproducts.tv the number is 1-203-306-5682. I am pleased with the product but I am not so sure about their business integrity...

especially after I saw that someone else had the same issue.Hope this helps.

I would order the Jack Rack, but there are too many Red Flags.

No "Contact Us" link on the website, No real checkout routine - indicating something nefarious, and they want your credit card information BEFORE you would normally get to a checkout page.Add in the percentage of negative feedbacks....and I won't even consider it now.

Looks like you can just take a trip to Home Depot to get everything you need to make your own.

I'm handy enough to do that...so, Here I GO !:o)

Folks, save your money. If you want the most exercise equipment for your money, get a kettle bell and learn how to use it.

It might be stone age technology, but here has never been anything better for the money that can work every major muscle group AND with tremendous aerobic benefit. Costs appx. $2 a pound. Get one locally and skip the shipping.

Don't get the rubber coated ones, they are often two pieces welded together. Go local and make sure its all one-piece.

Start light and work your way up.You get strong and loose at the same time.

I'm thinking of ordering the jackrack.I like that they're offering the free shipping on returns.

It was between that and bowflex but blowflex shippings like 140 dollars. Not worth it. And it's so huge to store anywhere. I'm gonna give jack rack a whirl.

It's such a simple but effective concept.

Seems cool and easy to store too.Anyone own it and have any reviews?

Anonymous
#404037

Ok, folks, this isn't rocket science! If you go to the website and actually read what's written, it's pretty clear!

3 packages(Silver, Gold, & Platinum), each package has a different level of completeness and price that represents that. If you want all the acc., it's one price, if you want some of the acc., it's another price, if you don't want any...you should get the idea by now.

Please don't even bring up the shipping charge, you buy more stuff, it costs more to ship it.Not that hard to figure out.

#403301

Does anybody have this product? Is it heavy duty or do those handles break? What's the warantee like?

Anonymous
#402766

I read the complaint, but if you do a lil' research before you buy, for example go to the website you'll see that there are 3 different models.A "silver", "gold", & "platinum"..., so sure the commercial will only show the best model fully tricked out..., but come on it is an infomercial & you have to know that there will be more to the story.

If you're going to complain about the price then yeah the platinum model is too expensive, imo, but other than that it is a nice concept.Being able to do dips & proper back extensions at home is helpful.

The reason they say 360 degree Rotational doesn't mean u have to rotate the full 360,, only that u can return to the original position :..Home - work- home...

Wouldn't mean I stayed home or made an unecessary trip....

By now you'd think people would realize that a trial period is just that.A trial.

No one could possibly expect to pay $14.95 for an entire system. And, of course, as with any other product, you have to pay to ship it. If you do what any informed consumer should do and read all the info first you can clearly see that there are different options and different prices right on the main page. How can you not know what you're getting unless you did absolutely no reading at all.

To call it a scam is a excuse for not collecting all the info before purchasing.

Even the product feature page clearly describes and pictures each piece of equipment that comes in each package. Not to mention a clear price for each package, namely Platinum, Gold and Silver and to go a step futher, a price for each a la carte item. If that's not enough, the facts and values page clearly says that you need all of the equipment to get a full workout.

But, if you want to just start out with the base unit and hand grips (Silver pkg)and add and you are able, then that's the right choice for you.No, I haven't purchased the jackrack nor do I work for or know anyone who works for them but it irritates me when uninformed consumers try to blame their lack of research on the company and carelessly throw around words like scam and rip-off.

Anonymous
#390282

I saw that it said $14.95 plus P&H but it's useful to know that the trial period doesn't include the entire system. How do you "try" it if it comes in pieces...or not at all?
